Help one another. Stand together. Keep each other safe!
National Night Out (NNO) is held annually on the first Tuesday in August. The NNO Campaign is comprised of citizens, law enforcement agencies, civic groups, businesses, neighborhood organizations and local officials from over 9,700 communities from all 50 states, U.S. Territories, Canadian cities and military bases worldwide. National Night Out had its Fitchburg debut in 2016, spearheaded by My CARE Initiative.
As divisiveness and incivility increase in our society there has never been a greater need for us to come together. The intent of NNO is to enhance the relationships between neighbors and law enforcement while bringing back a sense of community. The best way to build a safer community is to know your neighbors.
